Heart of the East Logo

For nearly a hundred years, Michael Garron Hospital has evolved along with our community, providing the care our neighbours need at a level of excellence rivalling anywhere else in the city. We serve thousands of people every day, from the city’s most marginalized populations, to those from well-established neighbourhoods, to ethnically diverse communities of newcomers to Canada.

With your support, the Heart of the East will equip Michael Garron Hospital to meet the needs of our diverse population through the transformation of our hospital campus. Together, we will have a significant and enduring impact on the health of our East Toronto community.

On April 25th, we kicked off the Heart of the East campaign in a big way: with the groundbreaking of our transformed hospital campus and a $12.5-million gift from Peter and Diana Thomson. They're transforming our East Toronto community - and so can you.

A gift to the $100-million Heart of the East campaign is an investment in the well-being of everyone in East Toronto. Because when people are healthy, they can contribute more fully to their families, communities, and society. Join us.
